Adelphi tied the game in the fifth when Ogden led off with a single to center and Craig followed with her sixth homer of the year with two out.

Stonehill quickly regained the lead with a pair in the bottom of the fifth. Remick sparked the inning with a two-out single to right center, stole second, and advanced to third on a single to center by Stryker. Stryker stole second before Swider singled to shallow center to drive both runners in with the go-ahead runs.

Stonehill added a pair of insurance runs in the sixth, loading the bases with a walk, single and fielder's choice with one out. Freshman Brianna Gunter (Amherst, N.H./Souhegan) reached with a pinch-hit infield single to drive in Wilcox, and sophomore Courtney Marchand (Danville, N.H./Timberlane) also scored on a throwing error on the play.
