Syracuse, N.Y. - For the second time this season, Bryant hurler Janine Enos shut down a normally potent Stonehill offense, this time tossing a two-hit shutout to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 win and advance them to the second round of the Northeast-10 postseason tournament on Saturday morning.

Enos, who baffled the Skyhawks back on April 9th in a 5-0 win when she allowed five hits and struck out eight, was just as effective on Saturday. She went seven innings, striking out four and didn't allow a walk to earn her league-leading 17th win of the season.

Jennifer Serrano drove in both of the game's runs - the first on an RBI double in the third, the other on an RBI single in the fifth.

Both Stonehill pitchers faired well on the mound, with starter Kait Mendall (Middleboro, Mass.) going the first four innings, yielding three hits and one earned run. Reliever Danielle Mason (Salisbury, Mass.) had a similar line, going two innings, allowing just one earned run and three hits.

The Skyhawks hits came in the third on a two-out single from Stephanie Folan (Glen Cove, N.Y.) and a two-out base hit in the seventh by Caitlin Flanagan (Cornwall, N.Y.).

Stonehill's season ends at 23-20 while Bryant, which later in the day knocked off Southern Connecticut improved to 28-12 and will face LeMoyne in the Northeast-10 championship series on Sunday.
