8K: 26:22.82 (29th overall) sub-varsity 8k race, New England Championships (10/7/12)

2013: Competed in four meets for Stonehill during his junior season. Finished 20th overall at the Shacklette Invitational with a time of 28:32.6 (9/7). Placed 72nd with a time of 27:29.00 at the DII/DIII Challenge (9/14). Ran to a 39th-place finish in a season-best time of 27:26 at the Codfish Bowl (9/28). Made his final appearance of the season at the New England Championships, where he turned in a time of 30:27, good for 227th overall, in the sub-varsity race (10/12).

2012: Recorded a career-best time of 26:22 and a 29th place finish in the 8k sub-varsity race at the New England Championships. Earned ninth-place finish with a time of 28:17 in the Shacklette Invitational.

2011: Finished sixth overall at the Shacklette Invitational covering the 8-kilometer course in 27 minutes and 8.6 seconds. Placed 63rd overall at the Codfish Bowl in a time of 27:45 on the 8-kilometer layout.

High School: 2011 graduate of Longmeadow High School. Four-year letter winner in track and field (indoor and outdoor). Three-year letter winner in cross country. Selected twice to the All-Scholastic Team in cross country. Served as captain in his senior year for all three sports. Holds school records in the two-mile (indoors) and on his home cross country course. Won the Freshman of the Year Award in track and field and the Coaches Award twice in cross country.

Personal: Born on August 4, 1992 in Longmeadow, Mass. Son of Brian and Liz McEvoy of Longmeadow, Mass. Has one brother, Kaolin (28). Lists favorite team as Stonehill Cross Country and favorite athletes as Steve Polito, Bernard Lagat and Leo Manzano. Majoring in Economics with a minor in History.
