Stonehill Fourth At KSC Invitational

Keene, N.H. - With the New England Championships on the horizon, Stonehill posted a fourth place finish with 136 points at the 13th annual Keene State Invitational on Saturday morning.

Keene, which also won the women's event, finished in first place and had all five of their scoring runners place in the top 10.

Mark Garcia of UMass-Lowell won the five mile race with a time of 26:25.

Matt Rigby (Suffield, Conn.) crossed the line first for Stonehill in 25th place at 28:32. He was followed in 30th position by Andrew Schallman (North Andover, Mass.) with a time of 28:43.

Freshman Kevin Gill (Brockton, Mass.) and sophomore Josh Andrews (Chelmsford, Mass.) finished in a virtual tie in the 43rd and 44th spots with times of 29:18.

Nick Campbell (Mansfield, Mass.) rounded out the Skyhawk contingent in 48th place with a time of 29:25.
