New Orleans, La. -  Senior Joe Ryan (Chelmsford, Mass./Chelmsford) and junior Matt Meagher (Mansfield, Mass./Mansfield) are Stonehill's two representatives on the 2007 NCAA Division II USTFCCCA Men's All-Academic Cross Country team.  A total of 127 male student-athletes representing 67 Division II institutions are on this year's list. 

Grand Valley State (fourth at NCAAs), Colorado School of Mines (seventh at NCAAs), Missouri Southern State (12th at NCAAs) and Georgia College and State University each placed four individual members on the All-Academic team. 

Ryan, a history major, is completing his final year at Stonehill College.  He is currently competing for the Men's Indoor Track team in the 1 Mile Run, the 3000 Meter Run and the 5000 Meter Run.  Meagher, who is pursuing a concentration in biology, also is a member of the Indoor team.  He competes in the 1 Mile Run and 5000 Meter Run, as well.

To qualify for the individual All-Academic honors, the student-athlete must have completed 24 semester or 36 quarter hours and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.  The student-athletes must also finish in the top 30 percent of individual participants at their respective regional cross country championships.
