EASTON, Mass.-- The Stonehill men's tennis team picked up its sixth straight victory and remained unbeaten in Northeast-10 Conference action with a 6-3 league dual-match triumph over Southern New Hampshire Saturday afternoon on the Stonehill Courts.

Junior Andy DeVita (Milford, Mass.), along with freshmen Jason Allegretti (Lincoln, R.I.) and Will Herchel (Hampden, Mass.), posted wins in both singles and doubles play on the day for the host Skyhawks (10-2, 6-0 Northeast-10), who have reached double-digits in the victory column for the second time in three seasons and for the third time in school history. Allegretti and junior Matt Grabala (Bristol, Conn.) teamed up for an 8-1 win at number two doubles for the hosts, while DeVita and Herchel posted an 8-3 triumph at number three doubles. Senior Michael Pelaggi (Dedham, Mass.) accounted for the other Stonehill point of the day with a straight set victory at number two singles.

Junior Pedro DePaula (Rolandia, Brazil) was a winner in both singles and doubles action in the setback for the visiting Penmen (3-4, 2-4 Northeast-10), as he teamed up with freshman Luis Ramirez (San Cristobal, Venezuela) for an 8-4 triumph at number one doubles. Junior Kevin Cullen (Medway, Mass.) notched Southern New Hampshire's other point of the afternoon with a three-set win at number three singles.

Stonehill hosts Saint Michael's in a Northeast-10 outing on Sunday afternoon on the Stonehill Courts beginning at 1:00 p.m., while Southern New Hampshire will square off with Pace in a league dual-match on Sunday morning in Hartford, Conn. at 10:30 a.m.
