EASTON, Mass. (October 10, 2015) – The Stonehill College men's soccer team was handed a 3-0 setback by Adelphi University in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday morning at Skyhawk Field.

Freshman forward James Thristino (Port Jefferson Station, New York/Comsewogue) opened the scoring in the 42nd minute when he corralled a loose ball in the box and shot into a wall of Skyhawk defenders, ricocheting off a defender and into the goal. Thristino scored his second goal of the game in the 72nd minute, forcing a Skyhawk turnover that turned into a one-on-one with senior goalkeeper Luke Besse (Hamilton, Massachusetts/Hamilton-Wenham Regional) and slotting the ball just inside the near post.
