Syracuse, N.Y. - LeMoyne senior Matt Pecheone notched two goals and junior David Dipaola scored his second goal of the season as the Dolphins spoiled the head coaching debut of Stonehill's Jim Reddish, knocking off the Skyhawks, 3-1, at the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon.

LeMoyne raced out to a 3-0 lead before Stonehill freshman Michael White (Lisbon, N.H.) scored in the 87th minute to register his first collegiate goal.

Pecheone opened the scoring when he took a pass from Brandon Morse and chipped in his first goal of the afternoon to push Le Moyne ahead, 1-0, at the 23:11 mark. Dipaola then added a header just over 10 minutes later off of a corner kick to give the hosts a 2-0 advantage.

Pecheone put in an unassisted score, his fourth of the season and second of the afternoon, just over 20 minutes into the second half to give the Dolphins a 3-0 advantage.

Between the pipes, junior Steve White finished with one save for Le Moyne and Brandon McFarlane (Norwich, Conn.) collected three saves for Stonehill.

The Dolphins held a 14-11 advantage in the shots category, including a 6-2 edge in the first half. They took nine corner kicks on the afternoon compared to one for the Skyhawks.

Stonehill returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Springfield for a meeting with American International at 4 p.m.
