Conley named to All-Rookie and Second team
Northeast-10 Announces Ice Hockey All-Conference Honors
EASTON, Mass. (February 23, 2018) – The Stonehill College ice hockey freshman Sean Conley (Cheektowaga, New York/Buffalo Jr. Sabres – TIEHL) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie and Second team, as announced by the organization on Friday.
Conley ended the season being voted on the NE10 All-Rookie team and the All-Conference Second team by the Conference's six coaches. The freshman scored two goals this season and registered five assists. Conley appeared in all 25 games throughout his first year in the Purple and White.
He was ranked 16th among defenders in the conference totaling seven points and registering five assists. Conley was also tabbed 14th among freshman in scoring.
The 2016 graduate of Canisius High School played on the soccer and ice hockey teams. He also played a year of hockey at Pomfret School. During his junior and senior years, Conley played for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres – TIEHL team.
The Skyhawks concluded their season with an overall record of 7-16-2 and 5-9-1 in the NE10 Conference, placing fifth overall.
