EASTON, Mass. (January 17, 2017) – Stonehill College men's ice hockey freshman Cameron Wright (West Dummerston, Vt./USPHL Premier) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference's Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, the league office announced Monday.

Wright picked up his sixth and seventh career goals last week in a 1-1-1 week for the Skyhawks. He is now ranked first in all freshman scoring, tied for sixth in goals and 12th in points in the conference.

Last week, Stonehill opened up play with a 4-4 draw against non-conference Wentworth, as Wright tallied the Skyhawks' third goal of the game at 12:33 in the third period with an assist from Christopher Page (Winthrop, Mass./Winthrop).

Wright also scored the Skyhawks' third goal of the game in a 3-2 victory against Franklin Pierce University 1:07 into overtime. This was the freshman's second game-winning goal of the season, giving Stonehill a 1-1 record against the Ravens.

Stonehill (5-10-3, 2-3-0 NE10) is back in action on Tuesday, January 17 as hosts Assumption College for their second matchup of the series at the Foxboro Sports Center with a 7:00 p.m. puck drop.
