Dorgan earns NE-10 Player of the Week honors for the second time this season and third time in his career after racking up a team-best eight points on one goal and seven assists last week. He exploded for a career-high six points (one goal, five assists) on Wednesday as the Skyhawks won their tenth consecutive game against Assumption, factoring into two thirds of Stonehill's scoring plays in the contest. Dorgan recorded two points in each period, including the game-winning goal midway through the first.

The 2013-14 NE-10 All-Conference first team selection followed up his six-point effort by dishing out a pair of assists on Saturday against the Penmen. He assisted on classmate Travis Army's (Englewood, Colorado/Worcester Academy) tally 16:37 into the second period that brought Stonehill back to within one goal, before setting up junior Richard Harris' (Grand Island, New York/Valley Jr. Warriors) go-ahead score at the 7:54 mark of the third.

Through 20 games this season, Dorgan leads the Skyhawks and ranks third in the NE-10 with 27 points on eight goals and 19 assists. In 65 career games, he has recorded 24 goals and 51 assists for a total of 75 points.

Tasiopoulos earns his third NE-10 Goaltender of the Week honor this winter and ninth of his career after going 2-0 in two appearances (one start) last week with a 1.51 goals against average and a .935 save percentage in just under 80 minutes of action.

Tasiopoulos got the start and played the first two periods of Stonehill's win over Assumption on Wednesday, stopping 15 of the 16 shots that he saw. The 2013-14 NE-10 Goaltender of the Year entered Saturday's game against Southern New Hampshire at the start of the second period with the Skyhawks trailing 4-2, and made 14 saves in 15 opportunities the rest of the way as Stonehill fought all the way back to earn an 8-5 triumph.

With his two victories last week, Tasiopoulos improves to 11-3-2 this season, good for a conference-leading .750 winning percentage. The senior also leads the NE-10 in goals against average (2.44) and ranks second in save percentage (.919). In 74 career appearances, Tasiopoulos is 40-30-3 (.568) with a 2.88 goals against average, a .913 save percentage, and a program-record seven shutouts.

Stonehill (12-5-3, 6-0-1 NE-10), which is unbeaten in its last 18 regular season conference contests (17-0-1), will be on the road tonight for a key NE-10 showdown at Saint Anselm College.
