2012-13: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring Semester). NE-10 Goaltender of the Week (12/18). NE-10 Rookie of the Week (1/22). Appeared in 10 games including seven starts for the Skyhawks during his freshman season. Went 3-4-0 with a 3.15 goals against average and a .910 save percentage. Ranked second among NE-10 goaltenders in goals against average during conference games (2.60). Also ranked third in the NE-10 among goalies in save percentage against conference teams (.923). Made his collegiate debut against Nichols, stopping all 18 shots against him in 33:10 minutes of relief. Stopped 34 shots in his collegiate debut against Franklin Pierce (12/1/12).  Posted 24 saves in an overtime loss to Johnson and Wales (12/12/12). Collected 25 saves and earned his first collegiate win against Franklin Pierce (1/19/13). Recorded 36 saves, including 15 first period stops, in a 6-2 win over Assumption (1/23/13). Stopped a career-high 41 shots in the regular season finale loss to Saint Anselm (2/19/13). Pallela Earns NE-10 Goaltender of the Week Honors. Pallela Named NE-10 Rookie of the Week. Palella Named to NE-10 All-Rookie Team.

High School: 2012 graduate of Loyola Academy. Earned high academic honors all four years at Loyola Academy. Graduated magna cum laude and earned National AP Scholar honors as a senior. Played for one club team, the Capital District Selects (EJHL).

Personal: Born October 11, 1992, in Chicago, Ill. Son of Donna and Patrick Palella. Has a twin brother, Nicholas (20). Lists favorite team as the Chicago White Sox and his favorite athlete as Jacques Plante. Lists hobbies as watching sports, playing golf and softball. Chose Stonehill because it was a perfect academically and athletically. Majoring in finance.
