His 37 points and 22 assists both led the Northeast-10 Conference. The captain recorded at least one point in 18 of his 26 games this season. He registered multiple points in 11 games, leading the team. Notched three points on two goals and one assist in Stonehill’s 8-3 opening day victory over Johnson and Wales (10/31). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters. Played in 25 games for Stonehill ranking third on the team in scoring and 13th overall in the NE-10. Scored four goals and dished out 17 assists for 21 points. Tied for sixth overall in the conference in assists. Compiled two separate point streaks of at least three games notching 10 points combined between both spans. Opened up the season with two helpers in a 3-2 loss to Johnson & Wales University (11/02). Potted his first goal of the season in a 5-2 loss to Assumption College (11/05). Had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss to Wentworth (11/22). Dished out three assists in a 6-3 win over Franklin Pierce (12/03). Had the game-tying goal and an assist in a 3-3 tie in overtime against the Ravens (1/23). 2010-11: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. NE-10 Academic All-Conference selection. Finished fourth on team in points with 13 on the season. Scored four goals and nine assists in 24 games played. Led all players in points in a 6-2 win over Assumption on 1/22 with two goals and one assist. Named the second star with his two goals over Assumption on 1/22. Netted game-tying goal at 17:38 of second period in a 3-2 loss to Assumption (11/17). Had two assists in a 4-1 victory over Franklin Pierce University (11/12). Potted one goal and dished out one assists in a 6-5 triumph over Southern New Hampshire University (2/12). NE-10 Player of the Week (1/24).

2009-10: NE-10 All-Rookie Team. Played in 25 games as a rookie, scoring six goals and recording 10 assists. Finished second among all freshman in scoring on the team. Scored Stonehill's first goal of the 2009-10 season against Western New England (11/3) at 3:38 of the second period in a 4-3 triumph. Picked up an assist in a 3-0 win over Worcester State (12/1). Netted a goal against Franklin Pierce (1/30) at 7:06 of the second period in a 7-4 loss. Had a goal at 4:34 of the second period and an assist in a 4-3 win over Framingham State (2/3). Compiled a four-game point streak from 1/28 to 2/6 with two goals and three assists for five points. Potted a goal at 14:42 of the second period in a 10-4 victory over Southern New Hampshire (2/18). Scored a game-tying goal at 2:32 of the second period to make it 2-2 in an eventual 4-3 overtime loss to Franklin Pierce (2/20). Earned third star honors in a 7-2 loss against Saint Anselm (2/28) with a one goal and one assist.

Personal: Born on March 20, 1990 in Taunton, Mass. Son of David and Christine Borges of Taunton. Has a sister, Kylee (18). Majoring in criminology with a minor in political science. St. Thomas Aquinas Medal recipient for having the highest cumulative grade point average on the team (2011, 2012 and 2013). Edward H. Sutherland National Honor Society member. Aspires to win an NE-10 championship with Stonehill. Completed an internship the Public Defenders Office in Brockton, Mass., and Department of Justice in Boston. Visited the White House in 2012 on a political science trip. Is a Boston Bruins fan. Lists favorite athlete as Cam Neely. Involved in Life Skills at Stonehill. Ice Hockey team's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative.
