2011-12: Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). Played in 13 games for the Skyhawks scoring one goal. Netted his only goal of the season and third career marker at 7:09 of the first period in a 5-3 win over Southern New Hampshire on 2/11/12.

2010-11: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Played in 16 games for Stonehill dishing out one assist. Dished out a helper on Jordan Fine's lone goal at 1:17 of the second period against Trinity in a 5-1 loss on the road (11/28). His assist helped Stonehill tie the game up at 1-1 during the second period.

2009-10: Played in 10 games as a sophomore.

2008-09: Appeared in four games for the Skyhawks, scoring two goals. Had a goal in a 7-1 win over Framingham St. (2/10). Scored once in a 6-3 win over Franklin Pierce (2/14).

High School: 2008 honors graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy. Four-year letterwinner for coach Dana Barbin, serving as team captain his senior year. Standard Times Player of the Year in 2007. MIAA All-Academic Hockey Team selection. SCC All-Star selection. Also a four-year letterwinner and senior year team captain in soccer. SCC All-Star selection in soccer. Finished his career with 125 total points. 

Personal: Born July 21, 1989, Norwood, Mass. Son of Tim and Jennifer Mathews of Mattapoisett, Mass. Has three siblings, Casey (19), a member of the Stonehill women's soccer team, Zack (15) and Shane (14). Majoring in business. Greatest sports moment was winning the D-3 South Sectional Tournament for soccer his senior year. Supports the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. Favorite athlete is Milan Lucic.
