2011-12: NE-10 All-Championship Team. NE-10 All-Conference Second Team. Ranked second on the team among all defensemen in points with five on the season. Scored three goals and dished out two assists for the Skyhawks. Scored back-to-back goals against Southern New Hampshire (11/16/11) and Assumption College (11/19/11). Also scored against Southern New Hampshire on 2/11/12 at the 4:01 mark of the second period. Had assists in back-to-back games against UMass Dartmouth (1/31/12) and Franklin Pierce (2/4/12). Stonehill went 2-1-0 overall when he scored a goal. Doherty Named To NE-10 All-Conference Second Team.

2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Appeared in 21 games for Stonehill compiling one goal and six assists for seven points. Only goal of the season came on the power play, an unassisted tally in a 3-2 loss to Plymouth State on 12/2. Had five assists in conference play in nine games. Assisted on the game-winning goal in a 4-1 win over Franklin Pierce (10/20). Compiled two assists in a 6-2 win over Assumption College (1/22).

2009-10: Played in 23 games, recording five goals and seven assists for 12 points. Led all defenseman on team in scoring. Had eight more points than the second best defenseman. Dished out an assist in a 6-3 loss to Curry College (11/14). Scored his first goal of the season at 5:28 of the third period in a 6-2 loss to Franklin Pierce University (11/21). Had a two point performance against Nichols College (11/24) in an 8-6 loss scoring the game-tying goal to make it 6-6 at 12:17 of the second period while adding an assist. Had a helper in a 5-2 loss to Wentworth (1/28). Netted one goal and one assist in a 4-3 win over Franklin Pierce University (2/3). Had an assist in a 5-4 loss to Assumption (2/6). Personal: Born July 20, 1989, Milton, Mass. Son of Richard and Kristine Doherty of Milton. Has two siblings, Andrew (23) and Nora (19). Majoring in business. Father, Richard, was a member of the Harvard crew team and mother, Kristine, played field hockey at Trinity. Enjoys cooking, golf, hunting, and video games. Supports the Boston Bruins. Lists Dennis Wideman as a favorite athlete.
