2011-12: NE-10 All-Championship Team. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring Semester). Played in 25 games for Stonehill ranking second on the team in scoring and tied for 10th overall in the NE-10. Compiled 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points. Finished eighth overall in the conference in goals and tied for 12th overall in assists. Tallied a nine-game point streak from 11/10/11 to 12/10/11 notching 12 points during that span (three goals, nine assists). Also had a seven-game point streak from 1/28/12 to 2/18/12 compiling eight points during that stretch (five goals, three assists). Had two goals against Saint Michael's (2/14/12) in a 7-3 victory. He also finished that contest with a +4 plus/minus rating. Scored the game-winning goal against Franklin Pierce (12/03/11) at the 3:55 mark of the third period. Assisted on three game-winning goals on the season against Nichols (11/12/11), Western New England (12/08/11) and Southern New Hampshire (1/28/12). Stonehill went 9-7-2 overall when he scored a point and 6-4-0 overall when he tallied an assist. The Skyhawks were 1-5-1 overall when he did not register a point in a game. 2010-11: Finished third on the team in points with 16 on seven goals and nine assists. Scored two game-winning goals leading the team in that category. Netted his first-career goal against Franklin Pierce University on November 20 in a 4-1 win. His first-career goal was also his first power play marker and game-winner of his career. Named the second star for his efforts on 11/20 vs. Franklin Pierce. Dished out a pair of assists in a 4-3 loss to Worcester State (11/30). Earned the third star in a 6-2 win over Assumption on 1/22 with one goal and one assist. Notched one goal and one assist in a 4-1 victory over Framingham State (2/3). Potted one goal and handed out one assist in a 5-4 loss to Salve Regina (2/8). His lone goal in a 6-5 win over Southern New Hampshire at 19:07 of the second period helped Stonehill's come-from-behind efforts over the Penmen. NE-10 Rookie of the Week (1/24). Juniors: Played junior hockey with the South Shore Kings of the EJHL, where he was a member of the 2009-10 national championship runner-up team.

High School: 2009 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School. Letterwinner and team captain in hockey. Winner of the Mike Bavis Award. Also lettered in track (javelin) and served as a class representative.

Personal: Born April 14, 1990, Boston, Mass. Son of Paul and Denise Carey of Weymouth, Mass. Has four siblings, Jim (33), Joe (31), Paul (23), who plays hockey at Boston College, and Bridget (15). Majoring in business. Greatest sports moment was winning the Massachusetts Division 1 high school championship with Catholic Memorial.
