NE-10 All- Rookie Team. NE-10
Commissioner's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). Played in
25 games for Stonehill on the season. Tied for 17th overall in the
NE-10 in scoring with 17 points on eight goals and nine assists.
Finished fourth overall in the conference in freshman scoring. Tied
for second in the NE-10 in shorthanded goals with two. Tallied his
first-career point with an assist against Becker College on
11/04/11. Registered his first-ever collegiate goal in a 2-0
victory over Nichols College (11/12/11) at 18:17 of the third
period, shorthanded. Potted two goals in Stonehill's next contest
against Southern New Hampshire (11/16/11), a 4-3 win. Also scored
against Wentworth (11/22/11), Framingham State (12/06/11), Suffolk
(12/10/11) and Assumption (1/25/12 and 2/25/12). Compiled a
three-game point streak from 11/22/11 to 12/06/11 scoring two goals
and three assists for five points. Stonehill went 4-2-1 overall
when he scored a goal and 6-4-2 overall when notching a point in a
game. Aufiero Named To NE-10 All-Rookie

Juniors: Played for the Walpole Express of the AJHL (Junior A Tier III) winning the President's Cup and finishing third at Nationals in Minnesota.
High School: 2010 graduate of Xaverian Brothers Academy. Three-sport athlete in baseball, golf and ice hockey. Played ice hockey for three years. Captain junior season earning Catholic Conference honorable mention accolades. Selected to the Catholic Conference All-Star team in senior year. Played varsity baseball for two years and golf for two years.
