Born September 9, 1989, Seoul, South Korea. Son of Dae Young Kim
and Kyoung Sook Jeong of Seoul. Has two siblings, Nam Kyoung (21)
and Kyoung Seong (23). Majoring in biology and minoring in
chemistry. One of 49 Stonehill students accepted into the college's
SURE (Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience) program this
summer, where he will be working on Investigation of the
Effect of Gene II Shine-Dalgarno Mutations on Protein Expression
and Phage Propagation in M13 Bacteriophage focusing on
research that will develop a better assay to quantify levels of pII
production by M13 phage, work on creating designed mutants, and
construct a library of mutants to select additional
fast-propagating ones. Career goal is to become a dentist.
Supports the Detroit Red Wings. Favorite athlete is Tyler
Myers.
