High School: 2009 graduate of Housatonic Valley Regional High School. Letterwinner in hockey, soccer, and lacrosse, serving as captain of all three. Two-time MVP, first team All-Conference and All-State selections in hockey. Recipient of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award. Holds school records for save percentage, goals against average, career shutouts, and career wins. Named team MVP in soccer and was an All-League and All-State selection. Named Most Improved in lacrosse. National Honor Society member. Athlete of the Year honoree. Played club hockey with the CT Selects and South Windsor Knights, and participated in the 2008 U.S. Regionals. Participated in the Mitch Korn National Prospect Goalie Development Camp.

Personal: Born June 25, 1991, Rhinebeck, N.Y. Son of Dean and Dawn Diamond of Lakeville, Conn. Three siblings, Ryan (21), a senior at Stonehill, Jason (12), and Jillian (8). Volunteers at House of Possibilities and the MSPCA. Favorite high school sports moment was recording 56 saves to beat 9th-ranked Tritown 4-2 on senior night. Aspires to coach hockey at the collegiate or professional level.
