Ben Davis is in his fourth season as assistant coach for the Stonehill men's basketball program. Davis is in his second year as the Skyhawks top assistant coach and serves as recruiting coordinator and also helps develop pre and postseason strength and conditioning programs for the team.

Over Davis' first three seasons with the program, the Skyhawks have earned three consecutive NCAA tournament bids, exceeding 20 wins in each of those campaigns with a 66-21 overall record in that time. The Skyhawks captured the 2009-10 Northeast-10 regular season championship and earned the top seed for the East Regional Championship, serving as tournament host.

"As a program, we are incredibly fortunate to have someone with Ben's work ethic, loyalty, and recruiting experience. I am excited that he is back for his third year," says head coach David McLaughlin. "He has grown as a coach each year, and is ready for his new role of coordinating many of our staff's efforts. His evaluating and recruiting skills are invaluable and play a key role in our program attracting top student-athletes. His work ethic allows for him to have a very bright future."

Prior to Stonehill, Davis was the head assistant and recruiting coordinator at NCAA Division III Nichols College, located in his native Dudley, Mass., for one season.

Davis is a 2006 graduate of Wheaton (Mass.) College, earning Bachelor's Degrees in history and political science. He was a four-year letterwinner for the Lyons men's basketball team, serving as captain his senior year. Davis earned NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honors his senior season, helping the program win a school-record 76 games over his career as well as back-to-back ECAC Championships as a junior and senior.
