EASTON, Mass. (February 26, 2017) – Stonehill College sophomore swingman Will Moreton (Minneapolis, Minnesota/Edina) earned a spot on the All-Northeast-10 Conference second team to highlight a pair of honors for the program, as selected by the league's 15 head coaches, the Conference announced today.

Moreton earns All-NE10 honors for the first time in his career with his second team selection after being named to the NE10 All-Rookie Team as a freshman. Sophomore Brandon Twitty (Randolph, Massachusetts/Catholic Memorial) also earned postseason recognition for the first time as an honorable mention All-NE10 pick. The duo are the first sophomores to earn All-NE10 honors since former teammate Ryan Logan '17 was a third team All-Conference performer in 2014-15. They also give head coach Chris Kraus '06 nine All-NE10 selections over his five seasons at the helm.

Moreton, a two-time Spalding/NE10 Player of the Week this season, is the only player to start all 29 games for Stonehill this season. He ranks eighth among NE10 scoring leaders with 18.1 points per game, while ranking fifth in rebounding with 7.2 per game. He also adds 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals (13th NE10) per contest, while shooting 46.2-percent from the field, including 41.8% (82-for-196) from three-point distance, and converting 77.8% (70-90) of his free-throws (15th). Moreton averaged 18.2 points per game on 46.6% shooting, including 41.8% from three-point range in NE10 play this season, adding 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

Moreton has led Stonehill in scoring 12 times and rebounding 17 games, posting a team-high five double-doubles. He scored in double-figures in 28 of the Skyhawks 29 games this winter, finishing the season with a run of 23-straight double-figure games. Moreton scored 20-plus points ten times this year, including a pair of 30-point outings. He scored a career-high 33 points in a win at LIU Post on New Year's Eve and pulled down a career-best 15 rebounds against Merrimack College on February 14. He dished out a career-high six assists twice.

Moreton, who has started all 56 games of his collegiate career, will enter his junior season with 767 points, 348 rebounds, 126 assists, 61 steals and 40 blocked shots. He is a 45.3-percent shooter for his career, including 40.2% from three-point distance, converting 80.3% of his free-throws. His 121 career three-point field goals are 14 shy of cracking the program's career top ten list. Moreton has earned a spot on the NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll two semesters and Athletic Director's Honor Roll two semesters for his efforts in the classroom.

Twitty also enjoyed a breakout sophomore season for Stonehill, averaging 14.6 points (16th NE10) on 45.3-percent shooting from the field, including 42.7% (67-for-157) from beyond the arc (14th), in 29 games. He has also chipped in 2.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and a team-high 1.9 steals per contest (4th). Twitty has led the Skyhawks in scoring five times this year, scoring in double-figures 21 games, with five 20-plus point games and a pair of 30-point outings. He scored a team season-high and career-best 34 points in Stonehill's 96-80 win at Southern Connecticut State University on January 13.

Twitty averaged 15.6 points per game on 44.2-percent shooting, including 42.1% from three-point distance, in the Skyhawks 21 NE10 games this year. He will enter his junior year with 560 points, 106 rebounds, 70 assists and 64 steals in 56 career games played. He is shooting 43.8-percent from the floor for his career, including 43.8% (88-for-217) from three-point distance, while converting 73% of his free-throws.

Stonehill wrapped up its 2017-18 season with a 17-12 record overall, including 12-9 in the NE10 to finish tied for third in the Northeast Division standings. The Skyhawks earned a spot in the NE10 Tournament for the 31st time in program history, posting a pair of wins over nationally-ranked teams, with wins over two of the top three teams in the most recent NCAA Division II East Regional rankings.
