Notes: Stonehill, ranked fourth in this week's D2SIDA East Regional poll, has won three straight and five of six after Wednesday's win at Adelphi. The Skyhawks are now 9-1 at Merkert Gym this season heading into today's Purple & White Game on Stonehill Alumni Day. Junior Ryan Logan (Fredericktown, Ohio) leads the Skyhawks with 19.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game, shooting 48.4-percent from the field, including 40.8% (31-76) from three-point range, while converting 72.1% (44-61) of his free-throws. Senior Carter Smith (Columbus, Ohio) is contributing 15.2 points on 50.6-percent shooting, including 47.7% (51-107) from three-point range, while converting 84.7% (50-59) of his free-throws to go with 2.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest. Classmate Pierce Cumpstone (Bainbridge Township, Ohio) adds 12.4 points per game on 52.8% shooting, with nine rebounds, 1.7 blocked shots and 1.1 steals per game. Stonehill has moved all the way up to second in the NE-10 for scoring defense (70.1 ppg), while ranking fifth for scoring offense (80.9 ppg). The Skyhawks rank second in the Conference for three-point percentage (.403), assists per game (17.1) and fewest fouls committed per game (15.8), third in rebound margin (+5.6), fourth for field goal percentage (.476) and steals per game (6.8), fifth for free-throw percentage (.736) and three-point percentage defense (.338) and sixth for field goal percentage defense (.433).

Notes: American International College, the defending Northeast-10 Tournament Champions, enters this afternoon's game having dropped its last two (both at home) after an 87-80 setback to nationally-ranked Saint Anselm on Wednesday night. Prior to that, the Yellow Jackets had strung together six wins over a seven game stretch, including a five game winning streak. Senior Trahmier Burrell (Albany, N.Y.) scored a game-high 21 points for AIC on Wednesday on 8-of-11 shooting from the field, while converting 4-of-5 free-throws, with three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Junior Juwan Moody (Pontiac, Mich.) added 17 points and three assists off the bench, connecting on 3-of-6 from three-point distance. Senior Cameron Dobbs (Albany, N.Y.) leads the Yellow Jackets with 15.4 points per game, shooting 32.1-percent (51-for-159) from three-point distance, with 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Burrell adds 14.1 points on 52.4% shooting, converting 81.5% (53-65) of his free-throws, with 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. Moody chips in 9.9 points on 42% shooting, including 39.1% (36-92) from deep, connecting on 84.6% (33-39) of his free-throws with 2.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. AIC ranks eighth in the NE-10 for scoring offense (75.2 ppg), while ranking 12th in scoring defense (80.5 ppg).
