EASTON, Mass. (February 25, 2015) – Stonehill College sophomore forward Ryan Logan (Fredericktown, Ohio/Fredericktown) has been named the program's first All-Northeast-10 Conference selection since 2012 as voted by the league's 15 head coaches the NE-10 announced today.

Logan earns All-Northeast-10 honors for the first time in his career with his selection to the All-Conference third team. Senior forward Jack Cole (New Providence, New Jersey/New Providence) and junior guard Carter Smith (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) have also been recognized with honorable mention All-Conference honors. Logan's All-Northeast-10 selection is the first for second year head coach Chris Kraus, '06 and the 34th in program history overall.

Logan, who earned NE-10 All-Rookie honors as a freshman last season, is one of two Stonehill players to start all 27 games this season and leads the team in scoring with 13.9 points per game (24th NE-10) on 43.1-percent shooting, including 36.9% (31-for-84) from three-point range, while converting 68.4% (67-98) of his free-throws. He is also contributing 6.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and a steal in 29.6 minutes per game this season. Logan averaged a team-high 14.8 points per game in NE-10 games this winter, adding 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists, while shooting 43.8-percent from the floor and 69.8% from the line.

Logan has notched four double-doubles, led the team in scoring ten games and rebounding nine times this winter. He was named the NE-10 Player of the Week once for the week ending January 26, has scored 20-plus points five times, including a career-high 31 points at Pace University on January 10, and has pulled down double-figure rebound totals five times, including a career-high 14 in a win over Bloomfield College on January 17.

Logan has started all 53 games over his two year career at Stonehill, leading the Skyhawks in scoring both seasons and posting a career scoring average of 12.7 points per game, shooting 43.3-percent from the field, including 39-percent from beyond the arc, and 70.2-percent from the free-throw line. He is also averaging 6.8 points, 2.1 assists and 0.8 steals per game over her first two seasons. Logan has posted seven career double-doubles, leading Stonehill in scoring 17 times and rebounding 17. He earned NE-10 Rookie of the Week honors four times as a freshman.

Cole, who was named the Spalding NE-10 Player of the Week for the first time in his career on Monday, earns the first NE-10 postseason honor of his career with his honorable mention All-Conference selection. He joins Logan as Stonehill's lone players who have started all 27 games this season and is averaging 12.1 points and a team-high 8.3 rebounds (4th NE-10) with 1.7 assists and team-best 1.3 blocked shots (7th) in 29.0 minutes per game. He is shooting 59.3-percent from the field (2nd), has posted eight double-doubles and led the Skyhawks in scoring six games and rebounding 16 times. Cole has logged three 20-point games this season, including a season-best 22 against Franklin Pierce on November 25. He has grabbed double-figure rebound totals 11 times, including his season-best 15 against the Ravens on February 18. Cole ranks 22nd nationally in Division II for field goal percentage and 50th in rebounds per game

Cole, who netted his 1,000th career point late in the first half at Franklin Pierce, now ranks 33rd all-time at Stonehill with his 1,038 points in 111 career games played. He has also snared 849 rebounds and blocked 159 shots over his career, shooting 55.2-percent from the field. Cole is a two year captain and has been named to the Northeast-10's Commissioner's Honor Roll four semesters for having a semester grade point average of 3.0 or better and the Athletic Director's Honor Roll one semester for having a semester GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Smith also earns his first career NE-10 postseason honor with his honorable mention All-Conference selection. He has played all 27 games this season, starting 26, and is averaging 13.5 points per game (25th NE-10) on 46-percent shooting from the field, including 43-percent (65-for-151) from three-point range (7th), while converting a Conference-best 92.3% (60-65) of his free-throw attempts for the season. Smith is also contributing three rebounds, a team-high 3.3 assists and 0.8 steals in a team-high 31.6 minutes per game. He has led the Skyhawks in scoring eight games this season, posting three 20-point games, including a season-high 24 points in an overtime win at Merrimack College on November 19. Smith started all 21 NE-10 games this season and averaged 14 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game, shooting 47.5-percent from the field, including 47.5% (57-120) from beyond the arc (3rd), and converting a league-best 93.9% (46-49) of his free-throws.

Smith is a two-year starter for Stonehill, having started 55 of 79 games played over his three-year career. He ranks seventh all-time in program history with his 145 career three-point field goals, shooting 41.3% from beyond the arc over his career. Smith has totaled 814 points, averaging 10.3 points per game, and 250 assists (3.2/gm). He has been named to the NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll two semesters and Athletic Director's Honor Roll one semester over his career.

Stonehill (19-8, 14-7 NE-10) is the No. 3 seed from the Northeast Division for the upcoming Northeast-10 Tournament which gets underway this weekend. The Skyhawks will be on the road for a quarterfinal round clash at Southwest Division No. 2 seed American International College (20-6, 15-5 NE-10) on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Stonehill was ranked eighth in the first NCAA Division II East Regional rankings of the year released last week (with a new poll expected later today) and is ranked eighth in this week's D2SIDA East Regional poll. The Skyhawks are winners of three straight and ten of their last 12 after last night's 74-70 win at Saint Anselm College to close out the regular season.
