2011-12: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring Semester). Started all 34 games. Averaged 12.8 points, five rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals in 31.3 minutes per game. Shot 39.5-percent from the field, including 38.2-percent (73-for-191) from three-point range. Converted 70.5% (67-95) free-throw attempts and added 17 blocked shots. Contributed 11.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 31 minutes per game in Conference play. Led the Skyhawks in scoring 16 times and in rebounding on six occasions. Netted 22 points in overtime win against Merrimack (11/27). Posted his first career double-double with 22 points and a career-best 12 rebounds and two blocked shots in double-overtime setback to Bentley (12/10). Made 6-of-8 shots from the field, including 4-for-5 from three-point range, and converted 4-of-5 free-throws in win at Adelphi (1/25). Followed that up with 23 points, drilling all five three's, with eight rebounds in win over Pace (1/28). Posted 17 points in win at Bentley (2/18). Scored 19 points in NE-10 quarterfinal victory over Merrimack (2/26) with seven rebounds. Netted a career-best 27 point on 9-of-14 shooting, including 5-for-8 from deep, in NE-10 semifinal win at Adelphi (2/29). Followed that up with 23 points, five boards and three steals in NE-10 Championship victory over UMass Lowell (3/3), hitting 4-of-7 three's. 2010-11: Appeared in 28 games off the bench. Averaged five points, two rebounds and just under a steal in 14.8 minutes per game. Shot 43.2-percent from the field and was second on the team with 22 three-point field goals. Led the Skyhawks in scoring once. Shot 53.8-percent (14-for-26) from the field, including 7-for-14 (50%) from three-point range, in eight non-conference contests. Averaged 6.8 points on 53.2-percent shooting from the field, including 12-for-25 (48%) from beyond the arc, in ten games played on the road. Totaled eight points on 3-of-6 shooting, three rebounds and a steal in win at Southern New Hampshire (12/4). Contributed nine points on 3-of-5 shooting from deep and four boards in win over Holy Family (12/30). Led Stonehill with a career-high 20 points as he made all seven shots from the field, including 6-for-6 from downtown, with three rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench in win at Pace (1/8). Chipped in nine points on 4-of-6 shooting in win at Saint Anselm (2/16). Posted eight points on 2-of-3 shooting from the field while converting 4-of-5 free-throws against UMass Lowell in NE-10 quarterfinal (2/28).

2009-10: Made 18 appearances off the bench, averaging just under a point in 4.7 minutes per game. Scored a season-high seven points at Holy Family (12/29).

2008-09: Appeared in 18 games averaging 4.7 minutes per game. Averaged 1.5 points and 0.9 rebounds. Scored six points and had two rebounds in season-opening win over Queens College (11/15). Finished with a season-high eight points and two rebounds in a win over Concordia (12/13).

High School: 2008 graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School. Four-year letterwinner; voted team captain senior year. Named Dual County League MVP as a senior. Two-time DCL All-Star. Lowell Sun All-Scholastic. Eclipsed 1,000 points, averaging 22 points per game as a senior. Team advanced to MIAA Division 1 North tournament in senior season. Played for the AAU Boston Warriors. Also won three letters in football, serving as captain as a senior.

Personal: Born May 24, 1990, Boston, Mass. Son of Precious and Isibor Tongo of Acton, Mass.  Has a brother, Adio Ashafa (27). Majoring in criminology with a minor in psychology. Participates in the Brockton Mentoring Program as a Big Brother. Supports the New York Knicks. Lists Carmelo Anthony as a favorite athlete.
