Mackenzie Quigley Named NE10 Rookie of the Week

Stonehill field hockey freshman Mackenzie Quigley was named NE10 Rookie of the Week after netting four of the No. 10-ranked Skyhawks’ eight goals in a 2-0 week. She posted her first career hat trick in Saturday’s 4-2 comeback win at St. Thomas Aquinas, netting three-straight goals after Stonehill trailed 1-0 entering the second half. Quigley also potted a goal in Wednesday’s 4-3 win at Molloy, which erased a 1-0 first quarter deficit in the second quarter.
