WALTHAM, Mass. (October 26, 2019) – Stonehill College scored four straight goals to erase an early deficit and post a 4-2 victory over Bentley University in Northeast-10 Conference field hockey action Bentley Field this afternoon.

Sophomore Emma Mawn dished out two assists for the Skyhawks, while senior All-American Michaela Antonellis rounded out the scoring with a goal.

Senior Tess Anderson had a hand in both Bentley goals with a goal and assist, while classmate Keally Ingersoll added a goal. Sophomore Kayleigh Vogel finished with eight saves in the Falcons goal. Junior Katie Lammando registered one stop in the Stonehill cage.

Ingersoll opened the scoring to give Bentley the lead with 4:46 remaining in the first quarter, when she netted her fifth goal of the season at the far post off a pass from Anderson. Cameron knotted the score just 22-seconds before the end of the first quarter, when she converted off a pass from Janeczek, who gave Stonehill the lead 3:49 into the second quarter. Janeczek's first career goal, assisted by Mawn, came from eight yards out to put the Skyhawks in front for good.

Antonellis extended the Stonehill lead when she converted a penalty stroke with 10:03 remaining in the first half for her third goal of the year. Antonellis is also a key member of a Skyhawks defensive unit that limited Bentley to ten shots, just three on target, and two penalty corners for the afternoon.
