Totaled three goals and two assists for eight points, scoring one opening goal. Played all ten NE-10 games and posted two goals and an assist for five points. Had two goals and an assist for five points in 11 home games. All eight points came in the Skyhawks 18 wins. Recorded two goals and an assist for five points in nine games in October. Made her first career start in season-opening overtime win at #3 Bloomsburg (9/7). Scored her first career goal in win at Saint Michael's (9/14). Part of a Skyhawks efensive unit which ranks fifth in the NE-10 with a 2.59 team goals against average, yielding 12 shots, including 7.3 on goal, and 8.7 penalty corners per contest. Made her collegiate debut in season-opener against No. 2 Bloomsburg (9/1).
High School: 2012 graduate of Needham High School. Three year letterwinner, serving as captain her senior year. Leading scorer in division for the Rockets in her senior year. Two time Bay State Conference All-Star was selected league MVP her senior year. Earned Massachusetts "Best of 60" honors her senior season. Named Futures Level 1 Team MVP her junior year, Regional Rumble MVP as a sophomore. Played club field hockey for "WCU" and Lead the Way.
Personal: Born June 5, 1994, in Needham, Mass. Daughter of Robert and Andrea Thornton of Needham. Has a sister, Emily (14). Majoring in elementary education. Omicron Delta Epsilon national honor society member. Selected to Stonehill's SURE Program, working with Robert Rodgers, Assistant Professor of Political Science, and William Ewell, Associate Professor of Political Science, on The Conservative Advantage: Partisan Bias in the American Political System. Chose Stonehill because of the blend of academics and athletics.
