Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad. Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll fall semester. Started all 20 games. Led the SKyhawks with 12 goals and seven assists for 31 points. Registered two gamewinning goals. Finished with a team-high seven goals and an assist for 15 points in ten NE-10 matches. Scored all three goals in a shutout victory over American International (9/6). 2008: NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad. NE-10 All-Rookie Team. NE-10 Commissioner's and Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters. 
Appeared in 17 games. Totaled six points on three goals (just six shots on goal). Scored her first career goal in a 6-1 win at American International (9/16). Netted a goal in a 6-1 win over Merrimack (9/18). Scored a goal in a home win over Saint Michael's (10/04). Three-time Worcester Telegram & Gazette Super Team selection. Mid-Wach A League MVP as a junior and senior. Set a school record with 109 career points. Also lettered in basketball.

Personal: Born October 18, 1989, Worcester, Mass. Daughter of Ann and Robert Nelson of Shrewsbury, Mass. Has two older brothers, Brian (25), who played basketball at Williams, and Steve (29), who played basketball at Hamilton. Majoring in psychology. Supports the Boston Celtics. Lists Kevin Garnett as a favorite athlete.
