Easton, Mass. - The Northeast-10's top two scorers - Sammy Macy and Jaci Moulton -  teamed up in the final minutes of the first overtime to lift No. 4 UMass-Lowell to a dramatic 2-1 win over No. 8 Stonehill on Tuesday night at W.B. Mason Stadium.

The win for the River Hawks extends their winning streak to ten and gives them an overall ledger of 10-2 (10-0 Northeast-10), while the loss snaps Stonehill's six match win streak and drops them into a three-way tie with St. Michael's and Southern Connecticut.

The River Hawks took an early 1-0 lead when Missy Seeley scored her third goal of the season off a feed from Michelle Harrington at the 3:32 mark.

The match remained scoreless for the next 66 minutes when, with 11 seconds left, Claire Hourihan (East Amherst, N.Y.) scored her tenth goal of the season with help from Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) to even the score at 1-1 and send the matchup into overtime.

Both teams had scoring chances in the extra session, but it was UMass-Lowell that capitalized when Macy found a streaking Moulton on the right side for the game-winner at the 82:46 mark.

Both goalkeepers played well in goal, with Courtney Osier (South Dennis, Mass.) turning away eight shots for Stonehill, while Amy Carbon improved to 6-0 on the season with her eight stops as well.

Stonehill returns to action on Saturday when it hosts St. Michael's beginning at 12 p.m.
