Nimon, Sullivan Named To Senior All-Star Squad

Chandler, Ariz. - Seniors Laura Nimon (Gardiner, Maine) and Kerri Sullivan (Goffstown, N.H.) have both been selected to participate in the 2008 NFHCA Division II North/South Senior All-Star game it was announced earlier this week by NFHCA Executive Director Jennifer Goodrich.

Nimon had a career year in her final season, starting all 21 games and registering 18 points (nine goals). Five of her goals came in the last seven games as the Skyhawks embarked on a six game winning streak to close out the regular season.

Sullivan meanwhile, had another impressive season following a first-team All-America year in 2007. She earned her second straight first-team All Northeast-10 selection in a season where she led a high-scoring Skyhawk offense with a career-high 11 assists. Her 25 points this season were also a career-best and the seven goals she registered tied a career mark. Sullivan was also named to the Northeast-10 All-Tournament team following the Skyhawks' 3-2 loss in the conference semifinals to UMass-Lowell.

The 2008 NFHCA Division II North/South Senior All-Star Game will be played on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the University of Louisville. Game time scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Stonehill, which ended its first season under head coach Shelly Morris at 13-8, returns a wealth of talent for the 2009 season including Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) and rising underclassmen in Lindsey Pinkham (Skowhegan, Maine), Ashley March (Schwenksville, Pa.) and Lauren Gifford (Goffstown, N.H.).
