EASTON, Mass.-- Junior Aly Boulis (Lincoln, R.I.) netted a pair of goals to lead sixth-ranked Stonehill to a 3-0 Northeast-10 Conference field hockey victory over Franklin Pierce Wednesday evening at W.B. Mason Stadium.

The host Skyhawks (6-2, 4-1 Northeast-10) tallied all three of their markers in a 4:27 span, as junior Caitlin Gleason (New Boston, N.H.) gave Stonehill the only goal it would need at the 31:08 mark of the first half when she converted feeds from senior Courtney Campbell (Reading, Mass.) and junior Kara Brady (Eastham, Mass.) off a penalty corner. Boulis extended the hosts' advantage to 2-0 just 23 seconds later when she scored her first of the night on assists from freshman Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) and sophomore Kerri Sullivan (Goffstown, N.H.), and Boulis closed out the Skyhawk scoring just 35 seconds into the second half when she took feeds from senior All-America Kelly Latendresse (Sidney, Maine) and junior Ashley Freeman (White River Junction, Vt.) for her second tally of the match.

Junior Dani Ryder (Gloucester, Mass.) made a pair of saves to pick up her third shutout victory of the season in goal for Stonehill, while senior Amanda Pietraszuk (Clinton, Conn.) made five stops in net for the visiting Ravens (3-5, 3-4 Northeast-10) as the Skyhawks outshot Franklin Pierce by a 12-3 margin for the match.

Stonehill heads to Springfield, Mass. on Saturday afternoon to take on American International in a Northeast-10 match that begins at Noon, while Franklin Pierce will be idle until next Wednesday evening when the Ravens host fourth-ranked UMass Lowell in a Northeast-10 outing in Rindge, N.H. that begins at 6:00 p.m.
