EASTON, Mass.-- Goals off the sticks of seniors Cara Senese (East Stroudsburg, Pa.), Kristen Trois (Leesport, Pa.) and Ashley Kocis (Buckingham, Pa.) lifted seventh-ranked East Stroudsburg to a 3-0 non-league college field hockey victory over fifth-ranked Stonehill Sunday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium.

Senese's unassisted tally in the 19th minute of action provided the visiting Warriors (6-2) with the only score they would need, as Trois converted a pass from junior Sarah Cordora (Swoyersville, Pa.) off a penalty corner in the 28th minute to stake East Stroudsburg to a 2-0 edge at the break. Kocis closed out the scoring for the visitors with 9:33 remaining in the match, as she converted a penalty stroke for her 11th goal of the season on an infraction in front of the cage.

Senior Crystal Condran (Hummelstown, Pa.) picked up the shutout win in goal for East Stroudsburg with seven saves on the afternoon, while junior Dani Ryder (Gloucester, Mass.) made nine stops in net for the host Skyhawks (5-2), who saw their 13-match home winning streak that dated back to October 2004 come to an end in suffering their first-ever defeat at W.B. Mason Stadium in 13 contests. The Warriors outshot Stonehill by a 17-14 margin for the afternoon while holding a 15-11 advantage in penalty corners.

Stonehill hosts Franklin Pierce in a Northeast-10 Conference match on Wednesday evening at W.B. Mason Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m., while East Stroudsburg travels to Bloomsburg, Pa. on Wednesday evening to take on top-ranked Bloomsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match that begins at 6:00 p.m.
