EASTON, Mass.-- Four different individuals netted goals to lead fourth-ranked Stonehill to a 4-2 Northeast-10 Conference field hockey victory over Bryant Saturday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium.

Junior Caitlin Gleason's (New Boston, N.H.) seventh marker of the season in the 11th minute of play staked the host Skyhawks (8-3, 6-2 Northeast-10) to an early 1-0 advantage, but the visiting Bulldogs (6-6, 5-4 Northeast-10) evened matters less than two minutes later when senior Laynie Sadler (Rehoboth, Mass.) converted a geed from freshman Colleen Wilson (Windham, N.H.). Freshman Alexandra Buchan (Stowe, Vt.) gave Stonehill a 2-1 lead at the break by notching her first collegiate tally in the 20th minute of action, and the Skyhawks extended that margin to 3-1 in the 49th minute when freshman Claire Hourihan (East Amherst, N.Y.) took a pass from fellow freshman Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) for her first collegiate goal. Bryant closed to within 3-2 in the 56th minute on freshman Caitlan Johnson's (Walpole, Mass.) unassisted tally, and junior Brittany Dibble (Troy, N.Y.) closed out the scoring with just over eight minutes remaining for the hosts by converting a penalty stroke.

Junior Dani Ryder (Gloucester, Mass.) picked up the win in goal for Stonehill with four saves on the afternoon, while freshman Kundayi Mawema (Hare, Zimbabwe) made 11 stops in net for Bryant as the Skyhawks outshot the Bulldogs by an 18-9 margin while remaining tied for first place in the loss column of the league standings with Bentley.

Stonehill hosts Saint Anselm in a Northeast-10 outing on Tuesday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium beginning at 4:00 p.m., while Bryant heads to Waltham, Mass. on Tuesday evening to take on third-ranked Bentley in a Northeast-10 match at 7:00 p.m.
