Mark Ledbetter is in his second year as assistant coach with the Stonehill football program. He will be directly responsible for coaching the Skyhawks tight ends and fullbacks, while serving as video coordinator for the team.

Ledbetter made an immediate impact with Stonehill's offensive unit with the tight ends and fullbacks collecting ten of the team's 25 recieving touchdowns, scored in 2015. Freshman Kaleb Lutton had a breakout year for the Skyhawks under his leadership, leading the team with eight touchdown catches and scoring a team-high 50 points, ranking third among Northeast-10 leaders for TD receptions - good for third on Stonehill's all-time list. He would be named to the All-NE-10 second team as well as the league's All-Rookie Team for his efforts after collecting NE-10 Rookie of the Week accolades three times.

Ledbetter, who served as an undergraduate intern within the Stonehill athletic department during the spring 2011 semester, returns to the Skyhawks after two years as an assistant coach at Northeast-10 rival Assumption College. He served as video coordinator as well as position coach with the running backs and tight ends at Assumption, helping the Greyhounds to a 13-9 record over his two seasons. Assumption's 7-4 record in 2014 marked the most wins in the program's NCAA era, with the Greyhounds leading the NE-10 in rushing. He also served as position coach for Scott Simonson, a current member of the Carolina Panthers, in 2013.

Prior to joining Assumption, Ledbetter was an offensive assistant at Endicott College. The Gulls posted a 9-2 record during the 2012 season while he was an assistant offensive line coach and special teams assistant, winning the ECAC North Atlantic Bowl. Endicott ranked in the top 25 nationally for Division III for scoring offense that season as well.

Ledbetter, a native of nearby Norton, Massachusetts, was a liberal arts major at Endicott. He was a four year letterwinner for the Gulls football program, helping lead the team to the 2010 New England Football Conference championship.
