EASTON, Mass. (April 10, 2019) – Five seniors from the Stonehill College football program have been named members of the National Football Foundation's Hampshire Honor Society for having maintained a 3.20 cumulative grade point average or higher throughout their college career.

Class of 2019 graduates Stephen Agnatovech, Jerel Archer, Anthony Gill, DJ Haskins and Theo Slepski are among a record 1,643 student-athletes from 424 programs across all divisions of college football who have qualified for membership in the society's 13th year. Qualification for membership in the NFF Hampshire Honor Society include being a starter or significant contributor in one's last season of eligibility, achieving a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and meeting all NCAA-mandated progress towards degree requirements. Stonehill's five Hampshire Honor Society members from the Class of 2019 are two shy of a record seven members from the Class of 2012 and 2017.

Agnatovech, a two-year starter on Stonehill's offensive line, is a political science and international studies dual major. He has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference's Academic Honor Roll each of the last six semesters and Athletic Director's Honor Roll three semesters at the College. He received the team's Offensive "Scout Team" Game Ball as a sophomore following the Skyhawks win at LIU Post. Agnatovech appeared in 16 games over his career, starting all ten games his senior year.

Archer, a four-year starter at cornerback for Stonehill, is a business management major. He has been named to the NE10 Academic Honor Roll six of seven semesters to date, and the Athletic Director's Honor Roll twice. In 42 career games played, Archer has totaled 106 tackles, including 74 solo, with 4.0 tackles for a loss of 37 yards, two forced fumbles, three interceptions and 16 pass breakups.

Gill, a two-year letterwinner at tight end for Stonehill, is a political science and criminology dual major. He has been named to the NE10 Academic Honor Roll all seven semesters to date and the Athletic Director's Honor Roll five semesters. Gill has received the Division II Athletic Director's Association Academic Achievement Award and is a member of the Edwin H. Sutherland Criminology Honor Society and Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. He has appeared in 18 games over his career, including eight games as a senior.

Haskins, a four-year letterwinner at wide receiver for Stonehill, is a business management major. He has been named to the NE10 Academic Honor Roll five semesters and Athletic Director's Honor Roll two semesters. Haskins has appeared in 35 games over his career, including all ten as a senior, finishing with 257 yards and three touchdowns on 18 receptions, averaging 14.3 yards per catch in his career. He posted a career-best seven catches for 97 yards and a score this past season.

Slepski, a three-year letterwinner on Stonehill's offensive line, is a computer science major. He has been named to the NE10 Academic Honor Roll all seven semesters to date, the Athletic Director's Honor Roll three times and is a Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient the last two years. Slepski has appeared in 18 games over his career, including all ten games last fall.

Stonehill finished its 2018 season with a 2-8 record overall, including a 2-7 mark in the NE10. The Skyhawks saw six student-athletes earn All-Northeast-10 Conference recognition, with two also collecting NE10 Academic All-Conference honors for their efforts on the field and in the classroom. 51 of its student-athletes were named to the NE10 Academic Honor Roll for having a semester grade point average of 3.0 or better in the fall, while 36 earned a spot on Stonehill's Athletic Director's Honor Roll for having a semester GPA of 3.20 or higher in the fall.
