Skyhawks receive commitments from five different states for Class of 2023
EASTON, Mass. (February 20, 2019) – Stonehill College football head coach Eli Gardner has announced that the program has signed 22 prospective student-athletes to National Letters of Intent and will join the program starting with the 2019 season.
"As a staff, we are very pleased with our 2019 signees," said Gardner, in his third year as head coach at Stonehill and tenth year at the College overall. "These young men and their families were seeking an environment where they could be true student-athletes while setting themselves success for the rest of their lives. We are fortunate to bring in some very talented football players that will look to compete very early in their playing careers."
Stonehill's 22 commitments include transfer quarterback Greg Powell, a transfer from LIU Post who has already matriculated to the College for the spring semester. The 21 high school recruits who signed NLIs come from five different states, including Connecticut (3), Maryland (5), Massachusetts (10), New Jersey (2) and New York (1).
