| The Game Stonehill College returns to W.B. Mason Stadium, where it will play its final two games of the season, to host Pace University for a Northeast-10 Conference matchup this afternoon on Timothy J. Coughlin (COG-lin) '80 Memorial Field. The Skyhawks are looking to bounce back from last weekend's setback at No. 12-Assumption College, the second-ranked team in Super Region 1, while the Setters have dropped their last three after a 3-2 start to the year. Hall of Fame WeekendStonehill inducted its 29th class into its Athletic Hall of Fame last night inside Pettit Atrium in the Shields Science Center. Among the honorees as contributors were the 1970 Football Team, which was the first club football team in the program's history, which was elevated to varsity status in 1988. The 1970 team got its modest start from an intramural all-star game at Saint Anselm College the year before. Under the direction of head coach Dave Knight, the Stonehill Knights (believed to be named either after their head coach or the disbanded semi-pro team on Long Island from which their first powder blue and maroon uniforms came from) played their home games that year at Keith Field in Brockton. The team made their debut against Worcester State and Western New England, before playing its first home game against Bristol Community College. The Knights' first win was a 14-12 home triumph over Saint Michael's. Joining the 1970 football team as inductees this year to the Hall of Fame are former field hockey and women's tennis head coach Pam Arpé, baseball standout John Kuzmiski '73, women's basketball guard Becky Barrett '99, men's tennis student-athlete Jack Granato '04 and women's lacrosse All-American Colby Confer '05. Home Sweet Home After playing at W.B. Mason Stadium just twice over the opening six weeks of the season, three of Stonehill's final four games will be at home, including back to back home games against Pace University and American International College to close out the season. The Skyhawks are 2-1 this season at home, winning its last two on Coughlin Memorial Field against Saint Anselm (28-14) and rival Bentley (41-35 in OT). 
Closing InSenior quarterback Matt Foltz (Mount Joy, Pa.) enters today's game 295 yards shy of Logan Meyer '14's program record for career passing yards (6,927). Foltz has joined Meyer as the only two quarterbacks in program history to surpass 6,000 career yards, entering this afternoon with 6,632 yards in 32 career games (207.3/gm). Foltz's 53 career touchdown passes are also within nine of Meyer's career record of 52. Force the Issue Junior linebacker Nicolau Coury (Lowell, Mass.) is one of five players in the NE10 with a league-high three forced fumbles after popping the ball loose at the goal line on Bentley's overtime possession to set the stage for the winning score on the Skyhawks' ensuing possession two weeks ago. The three forced fumbles ranks ninth nationally in Division II. Bona-Fide Senior safety Nick Bona (Peabody, Mass.) became just the 19th player in program history to surpass 200 career tackles, with his six stops at New Haven in week six. He ranks tenth among NE10 leaders with his 55 tackles this season, ranking third with his 32 solo stops, giving him 219 career tackles overall (122 solo). Bona has also contributed two interceptions and three pass breakups this season. 
Score ItSophomore wide reciever Andrew Jamiel (Yarmouth, Mass.) ranks third in the NE10 with seven touchdown receptions this season, ranking 37th nationally in Division II for receiving touchdowns. He is 11th among NE10 scoring leaders with his 42 points. You Can Put It On The Board Stonehill ranks fourth in the NE10 in scoring with 27.8 points per game. The Skyhawks have scored 20-plus points in six of their eight games this season and 40-plus three times. Movin' On Up! Sophomore flanker Andrew Jamiel (Yarmouth, Mass.) ranks seventh on the program's career receiving yardage list with 1,461 receiving yards in 17 career games. Jamiel surpassed 1,000 career yards receiving with his 125 yards against Southern Connecticut State in week two. Not to be Outdone Senior wide receiver Kevin Dick (Tewksbury, Mass.) moved into ninth place on Stonehill's career receiving yardage list in week seven, entering the final two games of his career with 1,215 yards on 100 career receptions.
