The Game
Stonehill College aims to emerge from the bye week with the same momentum following back to back wins to close out September as it visits the University of New Haven for a Northeast-10 Conference football matchup at Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium this afternoon. The Skyhawks have won two straight after a 45-21 triumph at Merrimack College two weeks ago, while the Chargers have won three straight after a 31-17 win at Southern Connecticut State University on September 29.

Media Info
Saturday night's game will be presented by the Charger Sports Network at newhavenchargers.com. Links to the webcast, as well as live stats will also be available via stonehillskyhawks.com.

They're Honored
Senior quarterback Matt Foltz (Mount Joy, Pa.), senior running back Malachi Baugh (Stoughton, Mass.) and sophomore placekicker Matthew Haite (Kingston, Mass.) were all named to the Northeast-10's weekly honor roll for their efforts in Stonehill's 45-21 win over Merrimack.
• Foltz completed 9-of-26 passes for 229 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
• Baugh rushed the ball a career-high 26 times for a career-best 98 yards and a touchdown. His first career touchdown run from five yards
out gave Stonehill a 31-21 lead with five minutes left in the second quarter.
• Haite scored nine points with a field goal and six extra points. He drilled a 43-yard field goal with 6:35 remaining in the second quarter to give the Skyhawks a three-point lead and spark a run of 24 unanswered points for Stonehill to put the game away.

Community Service Day
Stonehill rounded out its Northeast-10 Conference bye week by sending all 100 of its student-athletes throughout the surrounding communities for a Community Service Day on Friday. The team sent two groups to Trinity Catholic Academy in Brockton, as well as groups to the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton, the Children's Museum in Easton and The Farm at Stonehill. The team participated in after school programs, reading and morning exercises, cleanup programs and harvesting crops which will be distributed homeless shelters in the region.

The Rest of the Story
This afternoon marks the ninth meeting all-time between these two programs, the fifth here at DellaCamera Stadium. While New Haven holds a 6-2 advantage in the all-time series, including a 3-1 mark here in West Haven, the last five games have been decided by an average of 6.2 points, with four of those five being decided on the last possession, including last year's 21-17 Skyhawks win in Easton, Mass., on Andrew Jamiel's (Yarmouth, Mass.) second touchdown of the game with 1:26 remaining.

Split Allegences
New Haven head coach Chris Pincince is a 1994 graduate of Boston University, but his two brothers, Tom and Jon Pincince, both graduated from Stonehill. Tom, a 1997 Stonehill graduate, was a quarterback on the football team and still ranks sixth all-time with his 2,411 career passing yards and 24 touchdown passes. Jon is a 1999 Stonehill grad.

Score It
Sophomore wide reciever Andrew Jamiel (Yarmouth, Mass.) leads the NE10 with seven touchdowns this season, ranking tenth nationally in Division II for receiving touchdowns. He is second among NE10 scoring leaders with his team-high 42 points (40th nationally).

Career Night
Senior running back Malachi Baugh (Stoughton, Mass.) enjoyed a career night for Stonehill at Merrimack two weeks ago as he rushed the ball a career-high 26 times for a career-best 98 yards and his first career touchdown. His five yard scoring run with five minutes left in the second quarter gave the Skyhawks a 31-21 lead. Baugh's 26 carries nearly doubled his career output, having entered the game with 127 career yard on 34 attempts in 17 career games prior.

Pick Six
Sophomore cornerback Malik Wiggins (Long Branch, N.J.) recorded Stonehill's first interception return for a touchdown in four years, when he opened the scoring at Merrimack with a 42-yard interception return for a score two plays into Merrimack's opening drive. It's the Skyhawks first pick six since Nate Morris '15 against LIU Post on October 26, 2013.

Bona-Fide
Senior safety Nick Bona (Peabody, Mass.) enters Saturday's game with 197 career tackles (112 solo) as he looks to become just the 19th student-athlete in program history to reach 200 career tackles. Bona ranks fourth among NE10 leaders with his 22 solo tackles this season. Bona has also contributed an interception and two pass breakups.

Preseason Prognostications
Stonehill has been picked to finish sixth in the Northeast-10 according to the Conference's preseason coaches poll released last month. The NE10's d2football.com blogger Paul Falewicz has a much more high presaeson opinion of the Skyhawks by picking them third in his preseason NE10 poll.

Aye, Aye Captains
Seniors Matt Foltz (Mount Joy, Pa.) and Nick Bona (Peabody, Mass.), as well as junior John Ejiofor (Burlington Township, N.J.) have been selected to serve as team captains for the 2017 season. Foltz returns as captain for the second straight year, while Bona and Ejiofor were also elected by their teammates and coaching staff. It marks the second straight year the Skyhawks have had a junior captain after Foltz was the first since 1999 to do so a year ago.
