The Game: Stonehill College hits the road for the second time over the first three weeks of the season as it visits Assumption College for a Northeast-10 Conference matchup at Multi-Sport Stadium tonight. Both teams are looking to build off week two wins after opening their seasons with losses in week one, with the winner moving to the top of the NE-10 standings after three weeks. The Skyhawks posted a 52-24 triumph over Saint Anselm in the Battle for the Ol' Bronze Hawk last Saturday night, while the Greyhounds claimed a 20-14 road win at Bentley University on Friday night.

Media Info: Live video of tonight's game is available on a pay-per-view basis ($6.95) via www.assumptiongreyhounds.tv. Roei Biberstain will be broadcasting the action powered by Pack Network. WSHL 91.3 FM will also be broadcasting the game with Tim Culverhouse and Brendan McCarthy calling the action for the radio broadcast.

Against the Greyhounds: Tonight marks the 26th meeting all-time between these two programs. Stonehill holds a 19-6 advantage in the all-time series, having won each of the last six encounters and eight of nine after a 26-24 victory in Easton, Mass., last season. The Skyhawks are 10-3 all-time against Assumption here in Worcester, having won their last four visits since Multi-Sport Stadium opened in 2005. Head Coach Robert Talley is 6-0 in his career against the Greyhounds.

Offensive Player of the Week: Senior quarterback Logan Meyer (Ventura, Calif.) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week for the first time. Meyer led Stonehill to a 52-24 triumph over Saint Anselm in the Battle for the Ol' Bronze Hawk on Saturday night as he completed 18-of-33 passes for 332 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing for a sixth, and became the program's all-time leader for career passing yardage. Meyer, who was not intercepted on the night, threw three touchdown passes in the first half of eight, 67 and 44 yards as the Skyhawks staked out a 21-7 halftime lead and then added 15 and four yard tosses in the third quarter before adding a two yard scoring plunge of his own early in the fourth quarter. Meyer also earned a spot on the Noontime Sports New England Football Honor Roll for his efforts as well.

They're Honored: Stonehill placed four players who posted career-high performances on the Northeast-10 Conference's weekly honor roll on Monday. Senior running back Jamal Johnson (Brockton, Mass.), junior cornerback Sterry Codrington (Freehold, N.J.), who was also named to the Noontime Sports New England Football Honor Roll, and wide receiver Nate Robitaille (Attleboro, Mass.) as well as sophomore wide receiver Corey White (Bergenfield, N.J.) all received the recognition for their efforts in Saturday night's win over Saint Anselm.

Meyer

Chart Topper: Senior quarterback Logan Meyer (Ventura, Calif.) surpassed Stonehill Athletics Hall of Famer Tony Dello Iacono atop the program's career passing yardage list with his 67-yard touchdown pass to sophomore Corey White (Bergenfield, N.J.) in Saturday's win over Saint Anselm. Meyer has completed a school-record 408 passes on a record 764 attempts for a record 5,138 yards, becoming the first 5,000-yard passer in program history.

Sterry Time: Junior cornerback Sterry Codrington (Freehold, N.J.) had a breakout game for the Stonehill defense against Saint Anselm on Saturday as he posted a career-high ten tackles (career-best eight solo), including a career-high 3.5 tackles for a loss of 13 yards, a forced fumble, fumble recovery and three pass breakups. He shares first place among NE-10 leaders after two weeks with four pass breakups and ranks seventh in the Conference with his 3.5 pass breakups.

Double-Double: Junior linebacker Brian Harrington (Rockland, Mass.) posted his second-straight double-figure tackle performance to open the season with his ten stops (six solo) in Saturday's 52-24 win over Saint Anselm. Harrington made a career-high 16 stops (eight solo) at #16/18 Bloomsburg (Pa.) in week one. He leads the NE-10 and ranks sixth nationally in Division II with 26 tackles, while his Conference-best 14 solo tackles ranks 28th nationally.

White Out: Sophomore wide receiver Corey White (Bergenfield, N.J.) caught the first three touchdown passes of his career in last weekend's 52-24 victory over Saint Anselm. White finished with a career-high five receptions for a career-best 107 yards, averaging 21.4 yards per catch. His 67-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter marked the longest reception by a Stonehill receiver since David Pringle had a 70 yard catch against Bentley in 2008. White's three touchdown catches are tied for second on the program's single-game list and is the second-highest total in W.B. Mason Stadium history. He now ranks second among NE-10 leaders for TD catches, points (18) and yards per reception (17.6), while ranking sixth for yards per game (70.5).

Johnson

What a Rush: Senior running back Jamal Johnson (Brockton, Mass.) carried the ball a career-high 27 times for 170 yards and a touchdown in Saturday night's 52-24 win over Saint Anselm. He averaged 6.3 yards per carry in his second career 100-yard game. Mason Stadium history and he ranks second among NE-10 leaders with 201 receiving yards while also ranking third for receptions (14) and eighth for yards per reception (14.4).

Iron Man: Senior defensive back Tim Bennett (Ventura, Calif.) has started 28-straight games for Stonehill entering tonight's game. He ranks fourth among NE-10 leaders with 12 solo tackles, while his 19 total stops are second on the team and seventh in the Conference. Bennett ranks seventh all-time at Stonehill with eight career interceptions, while his 12 career pass breakups are good for tenth all-time.

Aye, Aye, Captains: Head Coach Robert Talley named seniors Tim Bennett (DB), Logan Meyer (QB) and Justin Willis (RB) as team captains for the 2013 season after a vote of the returning players last spring.

Academic Success: Stonehill College has been recognized for its academic performance with regard to graduation rate by earning a 97-percent Academic Success Rating (ASR) as released by the NCAA last fall. The ASR considers the academic success rate of the institution based on the graduation rate of student-athletes while also giving credit for any student-athletes that transferred from the institution while in good academic standing. In addition to Stonehill's overall ASR of 97%, nine of Stonehill's 16 athletic programs (cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field are combined by the NCAA) received perfect scores of 100%. Stonehill's 97% ASR ranks second among NE-10 institutions behind just Saint Michael's College (98%) and ranks fifth overall in NCAA Division II. The football team maintained an ASR of 95% - signifigantly higher than the federal rate of 80%.
