EASTON, Mass. (October 1, 2012) – The Stonehill College athletic department would like to announce that it will be offering a limited amount of pre-sale tickets to its October 18 football game against the University of New Haven that will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network as part of the NCAA Division II "Game of the Week" package.

Stonehill will offer pre-sale tickets to that game at its next home game on October 13, against Merrimack College at noon. All tickets for the October 18 game will be $7.00 and available for purchase at a separate table near the ticket window as you enter W.B. Stonehill student tickets will remain free of charge, with an announcement regarding how to obtain those tickets forthcoming. Stonehill faculty and staff wishing to attend the game can obtain their tickets from the athletic department from Monday, October 8, through Friday, October 12, between the hours of noon and 4 p.m.

Stonehill will face New Haven in a Northeast-10 Conference contest on October 18 with kickoff scheduled for just after 8 p.m. It will mark the football program's first nationally televised game, which will be shown on the same network that broadcast the Stonehill men's basketball game against Western Washington University at the NCAA Division II Elite Eight in March.

Stonehill is 3-2 through its first five games of the season, including a 3-1 record in Northeast-10 play. The Skyhawks are on the road this weekend to face American International College in Springfield, Mass., on Friday at 7 p.m.
