2009: Played in one game as a freshman.  Appeared in a 22-14 loss to Assumption (10/30).

High School: 2009 graduate of West Bridgewater High School.  Served as team captain for the football team his sophomore, junior, and senior year.  He was a two-time league all-star.  Also named Enterprise All-Scholastic.  Lettered in track and field.  Was a league all-star as a senior.

Personal: Born May 25, 1991, in New London, Conn.  Son of Tom and Laura Coots of West Bridgewater, Mass.  Has an older sister, Holly (21).  Majoring in business.  His greatest sports moment is winning the Super Bowl his sophomore year.  Supports the New England Patriots.
