Kristen Redquest is in her 10th year as head coach of the Stonehill College equestrian team. Prior to being named the head coach, she served as an assistant coach to Allegra Valberg for two seasons.

The 2018-19 season saw great success, as Redquist coached Emma McConville '20 as the first Cacchione Cup qualifier for the Skyhawks since Emily Dolan '13 competed in 2013. This was McConville's first appearance at the National Championships, where she saw a top 20 result. Stonehill also won its first IHSA Zone 1, Region 4 Championship since 2012, marking its 10th Championship, as six individuals including McConville qualified for the IHSA Zone 1, Region 4 Championships and then also qualified for the IHSA Zone 1 Championships.  

In Redquest's two years as an assistant, Stonehill finished in the top two of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 1, Region 4, standings both years, winning the regional championship this past season. 18 Stonehill riders qualified for regionals, with 12 advancing to the Zone 1 Championships and four reaching the IHSA National Championships.

Redquest also serves as a trainer at Winters End Farm, Stonehill's home farm, after previously working in the same capacity at the Canton Equestrian Center from 1991 to 2016. She provides instruction to beginner to advanced level riders, coaches at area shows and cares for border horses. Redquest has also spent a year as assistant trainer at Millpond Farm in Kittery, Maine, and six years as barn manager and horse show groom at Genesis Farm in Sherborn, Mass.

Redquest earned degree in equine management from the University of Massachusetts in 1993.
