Lorusso and Dolan turn in second place finishes to lead Skyhawks
LAURINBURG, N.C. (December 6, 2010) – The Stonehill College equestrian team closed out its fall season by competing at the Holiday Tournament of Champions, hosted by Saint Andrew's College, this weekend.
Stonehill turned in a 13th place team finish at the event and saw three standout individual performances. Sophomores Cassandra Lorusso (Wrentham, Mass./Dana Hall School) and Emily Dolan (Lacrosse, Wis./Aquinas) both led the Skyhawks with second place finishes. Dolan was second for open flat equitation, while Dolan took second place for intermediate flat. Junior Brianna Bach (Windham, N.H./Salem) placed third in novice equitation over fences.
Stonehill is now off until the spring portion of its season begins in March.
