Schneider reserve high point rider after winning her fences and flat classes
MEDWAY, Mass. (November 7, 2010) – The Stonehill College equestrian team placed fifth at Saturday's show hosted by Boston College and the University of Massachusetts Lowell at Saddle Row Farm.
Senior co-captain Kayla Schneider (Vernon, Conn./Rockville) earned reserve high point rider honors following a ride off. She turned in first place finished in her fences and flat classes on the afternoon to earn a spot in the ride off.
Tufts University won the show, followed by Boston University and Brandeis. The Skyhawks were first following the first four classes, but lost ground later in the day.
Stonehill is off this weekend before closing out its fall season with a home show on Saturday, November 20, at Dry Water Farm in Stoughton starting at 9 a.m.
