Equestian Team Wins Sunday To Maintain Region Lead
Bridgewater, Mass. – The Stonehill Equestrian team
maintained their region lead with team victory in a competition
hosted by Boston College and Bridgewater State on Sunday
afternoon.
Captain Jamie Marsalise (Laurel Hollow, N.Y.) won
her open flat class and was third in her open fences class. With
her high scores the senior rode in a high point ride off and came
away reserve champion.
Junior Quinn Traendly (Hope Valley, R.I.) finished
second in her open fences class, while senior captain
Rebecca Clifford (Rehoboth, Mass.) was second in
her intermediate fences class.
Stonehill was also helped by Kayla
Schneider’s (Vernon, Conn.) first place finish in
the intermediate flat class and Alexa
Riccio’s (Cheshire, Conn.) first place finish in the
novice fences class.
Junior Kelsey Hill (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine)
meanwhile, won her debut in intermediate flat class and senior
Naomi Crilley (Mountain Top, Pa.) finished second
in her walk, trot, canter class.
The Equestrian looks to maintain their 19 point region lead when
they head to Tufts on Saturday, November 15 for their fifth horse
show of the season.
