HANOVER, Mass.-- The Stonehill equestrian team finished seventh of 11 teams competing at the Boston University Intercollegiate Horse Show on Saturday afternoon at Holly Hill Farm, as the host Terriers took high point champion honors while Tufts was the reserve champion.

Freshman Rachel Foster (Townsend, Mass.) was first in the novice fences and second in the novice flat for the Skyhawks, as she rode off for high point individual honors, while senior Mary Shawn DeGaetano (South Huntington, N.Y.) and freshman Quinn Traendly (Hope Valley, R.I.) also posted first place performances in the open fences and intermediate fences, respectively.

Sophomore Naomi Crilley (Mountain Top, Pa.) was second in the walk trot for Stonehill, while freshmen Megan Martinez (New York, N.Y.) and Kelsey Hill (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) also placed second in the novice fences for the Skyhawks.

Stonehill returns to action on Sunday, November 19th when the Skyhawks compete at the Boston College Intercollegiate Horse Show that begins at 9:00 a.m.
