Michael Young, joined the Stonehill baseball staff in summer of 2019 and is entering his second season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator after finishing up his playing career for Stonehill in 2019.

With the Skyhawks, Young was two-time NE10 All-Conference selection, where he was named to the All-Rookie Team his freshman season and the second team his senior year. During his freshman year, he also was tabbed NE10 Rookie Pitcher of the Year, the first major award for the Skyhawks. He also was on the 2016 NEIBA Preseason All-Region team and was named a NEIBA All Star, representing the DII/DIII New England team in 2019.

Young was a NECBL all star in 2018 and played for the Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Currently, Young is a head coach and instructor with the GBG Hawks. GBG is a highly recognized travel program not only in the Northeast, but also on a national stage.
