Hoyt, who was also an All-Northeast-10 Conference first team selection this spring, collects his second All-Region honor in as many weeks, as he was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-East Region second team last Tuesday.

The junior started all 50 games in center field for the Skyhawks this season, batting .341 (76-for-223) with 15 walks, eight doubles, one triple, one home run and 25 RBI. Hoyt also did significant damage on the basepaths, stealing 36 bases (2nd in NE-10) in 40 attempts and scoring 45 runs (7th in NE-10).

The Walpole, Massachusetts native opened the 2015 campaign with a six-game hitting streak, and also hit safely in nine straight games from March 7th-13th before posting an eight-game streak from April 12th-22nd. He reached base in all but four games this season, recorded multiple hits 26 times and scored multiple runs on 14 occasions.

An NE-10 All-Rookie team selection as a freshman in 2013, Hoyt has played in 141 career games for Stonehill, batting .300 (172-for-573) with 23 doubles, five triples, two home runs and 54 RBI. He has also worked 35 walks, scored 99 runs and stolen 66 bases while being caught nine times.
