2012: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). Made ten appearances, eight starts, for Stonehill posting a 3.24 earned run average and a 5-1 record overall in 50 innings pitched. Combined for two shutouts. Yielded 58 hits, 24 runs (18 earned), issued 14 walks and fanned 40 batters. Finished third on the team in earned run average. Held left-handed hitters to a .269 batting average (14-for-52). Posted a 7.20 strikeouts per game ratio. Had an 11.16 groundball outs ratio. Did not allow an earned run in his first 15 innings pitched. Struck out ten batters over that span. Fanned a season-high nine batters in back-to-back games against Southern New Hampshire University (April 14) and Franklin Pierce University (April 21). Stonehill went 9-1 overall in his appearances and won in his first seven-straight contests. Shutout Assumption College (March 29) over 6.1 innings pitched allowing five hits, one walk and five strikeouts in a 2-0 victory. Six of his eight starts went five-plus innings. Struck out eight batters over seven innings of shutout ball against the University of Bridgeport on March 14. Only allowed four hits and did not issue a walk in that outing. Did not give up a home run in six consecutive appearances to start the season (32.1 innings pitched). Had at least one strikeout in every appearance but one. Only hit two batters on the season, tied for first among all starters on the staff. Gave up the third fewest extra-base hits among all starters with 12 (seven doubles, one triple, four homers).

NE-10 All-Rookie Team. Made 11 appearances and five starts
for Stonehill. Among relievers he had the team's best earned run
average (ERA) with a 2.22 mark. Compiled 44.2 innings, the most
among relievers and the most starts. His 27 strikeouts finished
second-best among relievers. Opponents hit just .268. Left-handed
hitters only batted .258 (8-for-31). Held opponents to a .250
batting average (19-for-76) with runners in scoring position.
Compiled a 5.44 strikeouts-per-nine-innings ratio and a 2.7
strikeout-to-walk ratio. Picked off five runners, tied third-most
in the conference. NE-10 Rookie of the
Week (4/11). Soulier Named NE-10 Rookie of the
Week. Soulier Earns NE-10 All-Rookie Team
honors.
High School: 2010
graduate of Jonathan Law High School. Three-year letterwinner in
baseball. Served as team captain his senior year. Earned SCC
All-Conference honors in 2010. Awarded Dony Romutzick
Student/Athlete Memorial Scholarship. Two-year letterwinner in
basketball. Played for the Connecticut Bombers Baseball Club
(Hamden, Conn.).
Personal: Born November 12, 1991 in New Haven,
Conn. Son of Joseph and Carol Soulier of Milford, Conn. Has two
sisters, Elise (22) and Hayley (15). Majors in political science.

Jonathan Papelbon. Majoring in political science.
