2012: Went 4-2 overall in nine appearances, eight starts, for the Skyhawks with a 4.17 earned run average. Recored one complete game and one shutout in 49.2 innings pitched. Allowed 43 hits, 26 runs (23 earend), 24 walks and fanned a team-high 53 battes. Held opponents to a .239 batting average. Also made four appearances as a hitter with two starts at first base and one in center field. Hit .273 (3-for-11) with two runs scored, one double and two runs batted in. Held right-handed batters to a .218 batting average. Averaged 9.60 strikeouts per game over nine innings pitched. Compiled a 11.05 groundouts per game ratio to a 4.53 flyouts per game ratio. Blanked Assumption College on April 4 allowing just one hit, two walks and a season-high 11 strikeouts in a 2-0 win over the Greyhounds. Fanned at least one batter in every inning but the fourth and struck out the side once (third inning). Backed up that performance with eight more strikeouts versus Southern New Hampshire University (April 14). Was victorious in his last start of the season going six innings, yielding five hits, two runs (both earned), two walks and five strikeouts versus Merrimack College in game one of a doubleheader on May 5. Struck out at least one batter in every appearance on the season. Posted five or more strikeouts in six out of his nine appearances. Stonehill went 6-3 overall in games he appeared in.

2011: NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. Ranked third on the team in batting average at .283. Notched six doubles, a team-leading four triples and 17 runs batted in. Posted a .980 fielding percentage with 94 putouts, four assists and two errors. Reached base at a .342 clip as a leadoff hitter in an inning (14-for-37). Went 1-for-1 in pinch hitting duties on the season. Had a .500 batting average (7-for-14) with a runner on third base and less than two outs. Collected four games with three hits going 3-for-5 with two runs scored and one run batted in against Merrimack on March 27, a 3-for-4 game versus Merrimack on March 29, a 3-for-5 showing with two runs batted in against Bentley (4/7) and another three-hit game versus Assumption (4/9). Knocked in a season-high three runs against the College of Saint Rose (5/6) to go along with one double and one home run in the contest. Posted a season high 10 putouts versus Franklin Pierce University (5/11) with one assist. Put together an eight-game hitting streak from March 14 to March 23 compiling 11 hits, five runs and three runs batted in during that span. Also had two extra base hits and one stolen base during the eight-game hitting streak. 

2010: Did not compete.

2009: Had three appearances for the Skyhawks. Went 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA. Had one save and six strikeouts over 4 innings of work.

High School: 2008 graduate of Masconomet Regional High School. Letterwinner for baseball. Cape Ann League All-Star. Salem New All-Star. Team MVP. Agganis Games member. Went 7-1 on the mound as a senior .

Personal: Born on April 18, 1990 in Concord, Mass. Son of David and Karla Shepard of Boxford, Mass. Has four siblings, Brendan (22), Colin (18), Jacqueline (16) and Michelle (9). Brother Brendan was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2011 MLB Draft in the 28th round with the 862nd pick overall. Brendan was also a member of the Stonehill baseball team.  Kevin Shepard played baseball at Boston College and for the Philadelphia Phillies. Father, David, played basketball at Bentley College. Undecided major at the college. Lists Gordon Beckham as favorite athlete.
